What you'll do:

 

  • Update and distribute shop master data (e.g., Hours per Vehicle - HPV, Head Count - HC, Efficiency).
  • Conduct line rdough balancing, process, and layout planning.

  • Set and distribute short- and long-term shop efficiency targets.
  • Create standard documents (e.g., Operator Instruction Sheets, Moving Line Charts).
  • Represent the shop in cross-functional project teams with Manufacturing Engineering (ME) and Logistics.
  • Serve as the shop interface for ME in ongoing production.
  • Act as a shop specialist for processes and products, including pre-production work and engineering buy-offs.
  • Support production with first-line analysis when special expertise is needed.
  • Provide input from ongoing production during product launches.
  • Assist in Kaizen workshops and other continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Help production meet man-hour targets and drive productivity improvements.
  • Manage minor non-product spending projects for current models.
  • Conduct capacity investigations (CIR) based on requests from the Plant Business Office.
  • Justify requests and introduce product and process improvement investments.
  • Oversee line layout, including material façade and tooling placement in operations and projects.
  • Ensure the shop layout is maintained within the area of responsibility.
  • Manage the high hurts process in the shop.
  • Coordinate manning needs for the shop.
  • Participate in plant engineering (PE) investigations/projects.
  • Share best practices in shop engineering between and within plants.
  • Ensure shop deliveries align with plant strategies, targets, capacity, and investments.
  • Implement ergonomic solutions.
  • Eliminate waste in time, money, materials, man-hours, machine time, and quality losses.
  • Engage early in process design in line with the Shop Vision for product and non-product projects.
  • Support production in line balancing, including line speed changes and new product/process introductions.

 

 

What you'll bring:

  • Bachelor’s degree or above in engineering-related fields.
  • Over 5 years of engineering experience in highly automated OEMs.
  • Strong communication, coordination, problem-solving, and innovation skills; ability to handle pressure.
  • Quick learner with good computer software skills; proficiency in PowerPoint is a plus.
  • Excellent English skills (listening, speaking, writing, presenting).
  • Willingness to travel domestically and internationally occasionally.

 

The Salary for this position starts from 2.250 EUR, per month, brutto.

* The salary amount represents the minimum guaranteed amount of the basic salary component applicable to the job. The final salary is negotiable and will be adjusted in accordance with seniority level and previous experience of candidate. In addition to the monthly salary, there is also a 13th salary paid in an aliquot amount and a performance bonus depending on the company's financial results and individual performance.
