What you'll do

Based in Košice, Slovakia, you’ll play a key role in supporting Volvo Cars Slovakia’s industrial operations by delivering daily accounting, tax compliance, and reporting services alongside a dedicated team. Your responsibilities will include preparing, analyzing, and reporting monthly financial results for the newly established Volvo Car Slovakia entity to the Volvo Car Group.

You’ll also contribute to financial process improvements and project work, with a strong focus on accounting. We're seeking a professional with 4–5 years of experience in a similar role, who can ensure compliance with Slovak GAAP and IFRS. As one of the early members of the Finance team, you’ll be involved in the initial system setup—giving you the opportunity to shape processes and grow with the organization as its complexity evolves. Experience with SAP is a plus.

What you'll bring

• Solid knowledge of IFRS and Slovak GAAP, with the ability to see both the details and the bigger picture.
• A proactive mindset and strong communication skills to build trust and collaborate effectively with stakeholders.
• Fluency in English and Slovak, both spoken and written.
• A strong grasp of finance and accounting processes.
• A background in industrial accounting and an interest in data analysis, automation, and digitalization—these are definite advantages.
• A degree in Business Administration or a related field, along with several years of relevant experience.

Compensation and benefits

Monthly gross salary for this position starts from 2200 EUR.
* The salary amount represents the minimum guaranteed amount of the basic salary component applicable to the job. Final salary is negotiable and will be adjusted in accordance with seniority level and previous experience of candidate.
