What you'll do
We’re hiring a Quality Engineer for our new production plant in Valaliky, Slovakia.
Bring your experience and help lay the foundation for quality in this exciting new project.
You will be responsible for:
- During launches of new products, participating in Failure Mode Effect Analysis (FMEA), Virtual Build Event (VBE) and Value Stream Mapping (VSM), aiming to detect and act on potential issues as early as possible.
- Supporting production in Plant Control Plan (PCP) implementation and taking lead of the Layer Audit of PCP.
- Responsible for implementing and maintaining Quality Operating System (QOS) related procedures, methods and tools in production areas.
- Coaching and supporting the shop floor practical problem solving, for preventive and corrective Quality actions in production.
- Driving quick containment implementation, data driven root cause analysis and verified permanent solutions as well as documentation and spreading of Lessons Learned.
- Govern/audit execution of control plan; secure feedback to ME (updating the FMEA/PII when applicable
What you'll bring
- University degree in Manufacturing, Mechanical/Mechatronic, Automation, Materials Engineering or equivalent experience
- Experience in Auto industry or similar manufacturing facilities is preferred
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills as well as advanced analytical, data driven and solution oriented mindset
- Fluent in local and English language, spoken and written
- You are passionate about Quality and action – oriented problem solving and have a proven structured and advanced problem -solving experience
- You would like to be a role model in applying the Volvo Car culture and behavior
Compensation
Base Monthly Salary (Gross) for this position starts from 2.000 EUR.
* The salary amount represents the minimum guaranteed amount of the basic salary component applicable to the job. Final salary is negotiable and will be adjusted in accordance with seniority level and previous experience of candidate.
