Quality Control Analyst, (VCK)

We are now looking for a Geometry Technique & Method Engineer for our production plant in Kosice, Slovakia.

The Geometry organization is part of the Quality & Academy function and supports all production shops in securing the Geometry properties in running production as well as securing optimal conditions for new products/processes by early involvement.

This is a fantastic opportunity for you who want to further develop yourself, where you skills and competence will also need to be transferred to the local operation in Kosice Slovakia in terms of the way of working according to Volvo Cars geometry processes and procedures.

What will you do?

Project phase:

• Early involvement in close cooperation with Geometry Manufacturing Engineering  to set up optimal measurement systems to secure the property of Geometry. By this also act as the customer in running production, securing capability of the measurement process.
• Close collaboration and cooperation with the Central Geometry SME regarding contract, supplier and purchase as well as global User group. Drive Geo installation projects of measuring equipment (i.e. In-line, Off-line and Stamping-/CMM-fixtures).

Running phase:

• Governance of all Geometry measuring equipment cross plant. Responsible for support and development of technical methods HW / SW concerning geometrical
  tools
• Assure Technical availability for Geometry measuring equipment. (Close collaboration with other roles within Geometry organization such as Geometry, Measurement Technicians and Engineers).
• Support production in advanced problem solving.

What you'll bring

• University degree in mechanical, electrical, industrial or at least +5 years of relevant experience.
• You have extensive knowledge and experience of the Volvo Cars Geometry property processes in a Car plant.
• You are a role model in applying the Volvo Car culture behaviors.
• You need extensive collaboration and networking skills, and you should be able to communicate in English, both written and spoken.
• Meritorious Experience
• Experience in green field plant project
• Proven structured and advanced problem solving experience or track record

Compensation

Base Monthly Salary (Gross) for this position starts from 2.200 EUR.

* The salary amount represents the minimum guaranteed amount of the basic salary component applicable to the job. Final salary is negotiable and will be adjusted in accordance with seniority level and previous experience of candidate.
