What you´ll do

  • Participate in FMEA, VBE and VSM activities
  • Initiate quality checks during and between build series
  • Act on suspected quality risks to support early detection and reduction of launch issues
  • Lead VIRA issue management and follow‑up activities
  • Lead and support
  • Share Lessons Learned across relevant teams
  • Use external (warranty, customer feedback) and internal data to identify potential issues
  • Lead cross‑functional problem solving for complex quality concerns
  • Act on critical internal and external issues
  • Collaborate across the organization to improve customer quality and reduce disturbances
  • Lead, coach, develop your team
  • Drive team performance, deliveries and improvement initiatives
  • Train and coach team members; assign tasks to build competencies
  • Support continuous team development

What you'll bring

  • University degree in Manufacturing, Mechanical,  Materials Engineering or equivalent experience
  • Experience in Auto industry or similar manufacturing facilities preferred
  • Passion about Quality and proven structured / advanced problem-solving experience 
  • Engagement to motivate people to help the organization achieve its objectives
  • Ensure ownership and hold yourself and others accountable to meet commitments
  • Build strong-identity teams that apply their diverse skills and perspectives to achieve common goals
  • You would like to be a role model in applying the Volvo Car culture and behavior, taking responsibility for deliveries both as an individual and as a team member
  • You have leadership, communication and networking skills and you can communicate in English, both written and spoken

Compensation

Base Monthly Salary (Gross) for this position starts from 2.000 EUR. 

* The salary amount represents the minimum guaranteed amount of the basic salary component applicable to the job. Final salary is negotiable and will be adjusted in accordance with seniority level and previous experience of candidate.
