What you'll do

The Production Supervisor is responsible for meeting business targets by leading teams, optimizing resources, and ensuring production efficiency. This role requires strong leadership, problem-solving, and coaching skills to maintain a stable, high-quality manufacturing process.

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure on-time delivery of products and services to quality standards.
• Optimize resources (material, machines, personnel) and manage priorities in real time.
• Reduce bottlenecks, minimize losses, and improve production flow.
• Maintain and enhance process standards for stability and efficiency.

Leadership-related responsibilities:

• Lead and support teams, ensuring accountability and continuous improvement.
• Coach and train team leaders and members through Gemba, on-the-job coaching, and feedback.
• Manage staffing, scheduling, performance, and development plans.
• Foster a safe, open learning environment that encourages problem-solving and innovation.

Collaboration & Compliance:

• Work cross-functionally to align production with business goals.
• Ensure compliance with laws, regulations, and company policies.
• Promote and implement Volvo Car Manufacturing System principles.
• Use visualization tools to track performance and challenges.

What you'll bring

• 5+ years in automotive/OEM production management (BIW preferred).
• 5S, Standard Work, Andon, real-time production management.
• Strong communication, coaching, and team management.
• Problem-solving mindset with continuous improvement focus.
• Hands-on, adaptable, and eager to learn.
• Advanced level of written and spoken English (or willingness to improve).

Compensation and Benefits

Base Monthly Salary (Gross) for this position starts from 2000 EUR.
* The salary amount represents the minimum guaranteed amount of the basic salary component applicable to the job. Final salary is negotiable and will be adjusted in accordance with seniority level and previous experience of candidate.
