Plant Logistics at Volvo Car Slovakia plays a key role in building efficient, reliable and future-ready production flows for our new electric car plant in Košice. Our team connects production planning, logistics processes and material structure control to ensure that the right cars are planned and produced in the right sequence, while respecting capacity, lead times and operational priorities. We are looking for a Production Planning Management Engineer who will contribute to optimized production planning and support the smooth launch and serial production of our plant.
What you'll do
- Support production control activities, including assembly and work-in-progress control.
- Analyze and check Bill of Material structures and investigate deviations when needed.
- Follow up on order changes and coordinate the introduction of running changes into production planning.
- Monitor and report relevant KPIs to support fact-based decision-making and continuous improvement.
What you'll bring
- University degree, preferably in logistics, production planning, industrial engineering or a related field.
- At least 3 years of experience in production planning or BOM structure management.
- Good understanding of logistics principles, processes and systems.
- Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, lead times and capacity planning.
- Experience with BOM structure checks and deviation analysis.
- Experience with Lean manufacturing is an advantage.
- Analytical mindset, strong ownership and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work across different teams and stakeholders.
- Flexible, independent and structured way of working.
- Fluent English, both written and spoken.
- Experience with SAP, Teamcenter PLM and MS Office tools.
- Willingness to travel occasionally for business trips.
Compensations
Base Monthly Salary (Gross) for this position starts from 1.850 EUR.
* The salary amount represents the minimum guaranteed amount of the basic salary component applicable to the job. Final salary is negotiable and will be adjusted in accordance with seniority level and previous experience of candidate.
