What you'll do
- Utilize strong manufacturing engineering mindset and previous experience in the automotive industry to secure and coordinate production lines automation (Robots, PLCs, Scada, data communication), from supplier evaluation to installation, commissioning and hand over;
- Prepare and optimize specifications for robots, robot peripheries and workshop robot functional packages, resulting in validation of robots during FAT, SAT, commissioning phase;
- Robot programming / robot simulation;
- Develop and design your equipment and process area (Battery and/ or Electrical engine production) according to Volvo standards, specifically equipment solutions by considering electrical design requirements;
- Improve the techniques & methods used by the team following the project through product development & feedback to achieve flawless launch according to project KPI requirement for Battery or Electrical engine;
- Take part in RFQ=Request For Quotation of equipment - cost estimations, development of process concepts, supplier relations, continuous alignment with customers, installing and commissioning.
What you'll bring
- Previous manufacturing engineering experience working on equipment projects, specifically industrial Robots (project lead/installation/commissioning), is mandatory;
- Robot architecture knowledge (basic manipulation, programming), and knowledge of robots basic principles – Fanuc Fpack;
- Electrical hardware and Eplan knowledge, experience working with electrical design;
- Professional Electrical Engineer qualification within the meaning of the Decree of the Ministry of Labour and Social Affairs of the Slovak Republic No.508/2009 Coll., minimum § 21;
- Machine Safety knowledge (safety zones, safety equipment incl safety doors, rollers gates, light beams etc.);
- Previous working experience with sourcing process (internal & external relations in sourcing), and Project management experience;
- Preferred engineering education: Electrical, Automation, Mechatronic, Manufacturing, or equivalent;
- Problem-solving DMAIC knowledge;
- FMEA experience;
- Good understanding of Teamcenter, CATIA V5, Auto CAD;
- Conversational in English, written and spoken, and proficient in Slovak language;
- Ability and willingness to travel within and outside Europe, although based in Kosice District, Slovakia;
- Not only an individual contributor attitude but also an ability to work within a multinational team;
- Self-starter and troubleshooting attitude, high level of communication skills, curiosity to learn new technologies;
- Analytic and engineering data reporting skills.
Compensation
Base Monthly Salary (Gross) for this position starts from 2.200 EUR.
* The salary amount represents the minimum guaranteed amount of the basic salary component applicable to the job. Final salary is negotiable and will be adjusted in accordance with seniority level and previous experience of candidate.
