Volvo Cars Kosice plan to start running production in the middle of 2027. Up until then, we will work as a project organization with designing, build up and commission.

What you'll do:
Project phase:
- Secure KPIs such as availability, MTTR, MDT, MCBF, costs, safety etc. in close co-operation with the cross functional team.
- Setup of preventive maintenance, predictive maintenance and corrective maintenance process. Cooperation on spare parts list, maintenance program and disturbance solving instructions
- Contribute to an optimal set-up of the maintainability and reliability in the production lines during the equipment design and installation phase.
- During the last year of the project phase, 2027, focus will be on trimming and validating the equipment during build pre-series of cars, making instructions and training of maintenance technicians.
Running phase:
- Ensure maintenance KPI´s in pre-studies and installation projects.
- Being responsible for developing your area/ function applying Value Driven Maintenance.
- Lead the team of technicians with close cooperation with production team and maintenance engineering team.
- Contribute with support and experience in the cross functional team in order to meet the areas common targets.
- Working with continuous improvements of asset utilization (availability, quality) and cost control. Define and update the maintenance program (preventive and corrective).
What you'll bring:
Your background is a technical bachelor’s degree or at least +3 years of relevant experience. You have leadership and communications skills.
Experience from running production in car manufacturing Paint Shop will be highly meritorious. If you have experience from other shops or Tier1 automotive, it is also meritorious as well as other maintenance roles.
You need extensive collaboration and networking skills, and you should be able to communicate in English, both written and spoken.
What you should know?
- Education in electrical engineering or mechatronics area
- Experience with the leading of a small team of technicians
- Lean Maintenance principles
- Knowledge of data analysis and data visualization is a plus
- Experience with trainings
- Experiences with CMMS implementation
- IoT and Industry 4.0 concept knowledge
- &22 or 23 Vyhláška 508 is a must

Gross monthly salary for this position starts from 2.000 EUR.
* The salary amount represents the minimum guaranteed amount of the basic salary component applicable to the job. Final salary is negotiable and will be adjusted in accordance with seniority level and previous experience of candidate.
