Maintenance Engineer - Propulsion, (VCK)

What you´ll do

We are searching for colleague, who will create, follow up and optimize conditions for the equipment to perform at an agreed level or better with reflection on cost, SHE and availability according to Value Driven Maintenance.

  • Provide technical guidance towards maintenance area leaders, supervisors, team leaders, and maintenance technicians and execution, leading of actions.
  • Dedicated, systematic, and planned work, with the required flexibility.
  • Applying maintenance experience - competence upfront in the manufacturing development process, to assure the reliability and maintainability of new equipment.
  • In function of asset utilization (availability, quality) and cost control: define and update the maintenance program (predictive, preventive and corrective)
  • problem solving in an analytical and structured way
  • The definition, draw-up, organization and provision of dedicated trainings, to allow the colleagues and maintenance executers, to assure effective and efficient execution of their tasks.
  • The collection, update, and optimization of a clear, complete and user-friendly specific documentation (inclusive visual factory).
  • Setup of Bill of Material, spare parts list, and maintenance program, disturbance solving instructions.
  • The definition and management of the maintenance budgets of the assigned equipment and activities and providing guidance in budget setting to the departments.

What you'll bring

  • University degree or above and major is mechanical or electrical engineering related.
  • Very good knowledge of the Maintenance practices / processes.
  • Good knowledge in managing small projects.
  • Skill within mechanical engineering and related software e.g., CAD etc. is a merit.
  • Good communication and logical / analytical thinking.
  • English and Slovak in speech and writing.
  • Easy to work with others and make new contacts
  • Be proposal and driving in improvement work

Compensation

Base Monthly Salary (Gross) for this position starts from 2.000 EUR. 

* The salary amount represents the minimum guaranteed amount of the basic salary component applicable to the job. 
Final salary is negotiable and will be adjusted in accordance with seniority level and previous experience of candidate. 
  
Additional benefits: 

  • Summer & Winter Pay (pro-rated, ½ of monthly salary paid in June and ½ of monthly salary paid in December); 
  • Annual Volvo Bonus depending on performance and company's financial results (*2026 target = 5%); 
  • Monthly Contributions to the III. Pension Pillar (Individual Pension Savings) - 3% after 3 months of employment; 
  • Cafeteria Benefit Program 200 EUR per year worked (pro-rated); 
  • Employee Referral Program - 600 EUR Referral Bonus for selected positions; 
  • Financial contribution for meals 6 EUR per day worked; 
  • Compensation for dioptric glasses & contact lenses up of to 200 EUR every 2 years;
