What you'll do
- Utilize strong manufacturing engineering mindset and previous experience in the automotive industry to prepare, develop, implement, and improve process solutions & methods to secure the body shop process products;
- Be part of the Body Shop maintenance team, take on responsibility for all robot configuration and tools within the area of Body Shop;
- Compile and implement various process documents and be responsible for the issuance and change of maintenance process documents in the workshop to ensure the validity, completeness, correctness, and unity of process documents;
- Inspect and supervise the implementation of process discipline and implement corresponding corrective measures;
- Organize and implement the optimization and improvement of the workshop robot system, reduce operating costs, and improve the stability and reliability of the system;
- Study the balance between man and robot in the workshop, improve the utilization rate of the robot, reduce the cost and workload of the workshop man, and improve the man-machine problem;
- Provide technical support for the robot equipment in the workshop, responsible for the development of robot equipment maintenance plan and the formulation and maintenance of spare parts list;
- Be responsible for the optimization and improvement of the workshop robot function package (welding, gluing, SPR (self-piecing rivetting), laser welding) and improving the quality of the workshop together with Manufacturing Engineering;
- Be responsible for the R&M in the workshop, together with the product design and development department, participate in the robot selection, design, installation and commissioning of new models;
- Be responsible for the planning and implementation of the digitalization of workshop robots to improve the management efficiency of the workshop;
- Lead the automation improvement of the workshop, design the solution together with the production and supplier, and implement it at the optimal cost;
- Train maintenance engineers and technicians to improve the overall skills of maintenance personnel;
- Achievement of KPI (Key performance indicator) targets for workshop equipment, cause analysis, improvement and tracking;
- Support M3MU of the workshop.
What you'll bring
- Several years of previous working experience in robot maintenance in a highly automated industrial environment;
- Preferred university education in Mechanical/Mechatronic, Manufacturing, Automation, Electrical, or related field;
- Ability to diagnose and deal with electrical problems and guide maintenance operator to deal with electrical issues;
- Experience with diagnosis of fault-handling robot capabilities;
- Proficiency in the operation of robots and ability to complete the robot installation and commissioning of new projects by themselves;
- Familiarity with robot peripherals and ability to independently deal with robot-related software and hardware problems;
- Demonstrated flexibility, being able to work under an organization in a transformation period or green-field project;
- Willingness to travel domestically and internationally on an occasional basis, although based in Košice, Slovakia;
- Conversational in English, written and spoken;
- Not only an individual contributor attitude but also an ability to work within a multinational team;
- Self-starter and troubleshooting attitude, strong innovation ability, high level of communication skills, curiosity to learn new technologies;
- Analytic and engineering data reporting skills.

Base Monthly Salary (Gross) for this position starts from 2.000 EUR.
* The salary amount represents the minimum guaranteed amount of the basic salary component applicable to the job. Final salary is negotiable and will be adjusted in accordance with seniority level and previous experience of candidate.
