Maintenance Engineer (Fastening) is responsible for ensuring the reliability, maintainability, and efficient operation of nut-running machinery within the manufacturing process. This role involves applying maintenance expertise during the development of new projects, managing preventive and corrective maintenance programs, and providing technical leadership and training to the maintenance team. You would play a crucial role in optimizing asset utilization, maintaining cost control, and ensuring the availability of high-quality production output.

 

Key Responsibilities:


Maintenance in Manufacturing Development:

  • Integrate maintenance experience and competence into the manufacturing development process to ensure reliability and maintainability for new projects.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to influence design and development for optimal equipment performance.

 

Systematic and Planned Work:

  • Execute work in a dedicated, systematic, and planned manner while maintaining the necessary flexibility to adapt to changing circumstances.
  • Ensure that maintenance activities are aligned with production schedules and business needs.

 

Asset Utilization and Cost Control:

  • Define, implement, and continuously update maintenance programs (both preventive and corrective) to optimize asset utilization, quality, and cost efficiency.
  • Apply analytical and structured problem-solving techniques to address and resolve equipment issues promptly.
  • Define and manage the maintenance budgets for assigned equipment and activities.
  • Provide input and guidance during the budget-setting process, ensuring alignment with departmental financial objectives.

 

Documentation and Optimization:

  • Collect, update, and optimize detailed, user-friendly documentation specific to nut-running machinery.
  • Develop and maintain a comprehensive bill of materials (BOM), spare parts lists, and maintenance programs, including disturbance-solving instructions.

 

Training and Knowledge Transfer:

  • Design, organize, and deliver specialized training sessions for colleagues and maintenance personnel.
  • Ensure that team members are equipped with the knowledge and skills required to execute their tasks effectively and efficiently.

 

Technical Guidance and Leadership:

  • Provide technical support and guidance to supervisors, technicians, and operators in the maintenance and operation of nut-running machinery.
  • Lead and coordinate maintenance actions, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and standards.

 

Competencies:

  • Good knowledge of nut runner (Prefer Altas/Desoutter) and with more than 3 years related work experience (Theory/calibration and quality control/Maintain).
  • Prefer good knowledge of the final assembly production processes.
  • Skilled to apply special software for nut runner.
  • English in speech and writing.
     

Compensation and Benefits

 

Monthly gross salary for this position starts from 1.800 EUR.

* The salary amount represents the minimum guaranteed amount of the basic salary component applicable to the job. Final salary is negotiable and will be adjusted in accordance with seniority level and previous experience of candidate. In addition to the monthly salary, there is also a 13th salary paid in an aliquot amount and a performance bonus depending on the company's financial results and individual performance.
