Let's introduce ourselves

This is a new role in the Plant Engineering dpt., which is the backbone of our state-of-the-art plant, ensuring continuous, efficient operation of our entire site.

What you'll do

You will take the lead of the overall process to manage plant layouts (2D & 3D). To enable our plant performance and development, we will rely on excellent digital representation of the plant as we move from startup to a stable world-class running production and beyond. 
The role will require collaboration throughout the entire organization and a supportive mindset to help the organization with your CAD and data management expertise. The role will also include leadership of various projects within CAD/Scanning/Measurement projects.
Examples of Projects to support with layout studies:

  • Insource/Outsource studies
  • New installation projects
  • Plant efficiency projects

In doing so, your overall responsibilities will also include:

  • Process Design Engineering - support the analysis of information and the specification of the methods and process steps, as well as the plant, machinery, and equipment, required to design and continuously improve manufacturing or materials processes and process systems
  • Engineering Solutions Design - implement feasibility testing of proposed engineering solutions, under supervision, to provide feedback and contribute to validation of the design
  • Technical Troubleshooting - diagnostic and simple problem-solving tasks related to equipment
  • Technical Developments Recommendation - research and suggest technical developments and supporting infrastructure
  • Engineering Drawings - create engineering drawings for the communication, evaluation, and implementation of engineering solutions

What you'll bring

  • Several years of previous working experience working on layout/equipment projects, preferably in the automotive industry;
  • Very good knowledge of Auto CAD, Revit, Naviswork, Catia, and other design systems as well as experience working with PLM systems, e.g. Teamcenter;
  • Preferred University education: Mechanical, Mechatronic, Manufacturing engineering or equivalent;
  • Deep knowledge in Process design, Construction engineering, and surveying;
  • Conversational in English, written and spoken, and preferably proficient in the Slovak language;
  • Strong problem-solving skills and willingness to develop guidelines and standards;
  • Not only an individual contributor attitude, but also an ability to work within a multinational team;
  • Self-starter and troubleshooting attitude, high level of communication skills, curiosity to learn new technologies;
  • Analytic and engineering data reporting skills.

Compensation Data

Base Monthly Salary (Gross) for this position starts from 1.850 EUR.
* The salary amount represents the minimum guaranteed amount of the basic salary component applicable to the job. Final salary is negotiable and will be adjusted in accordance with seniority level and previous experience of candidate.
