As our next Equipment Engineer for Casting and Machining you will execute industrialization projects for our Casting and machining projects in Kosice, Slovakia.

The position reports to Engineering Manager Casting Industrialization

What you'll do

 

  • Follow methods and techniques for equipment in the production, execute equipment projects for the production units to fulfil the defined quality, lead time, cost efficiency, safety/health/environment, flexibility, change over.
  • Establish and update technical equipment specifications within the area
  • Execute equipment projects which includes developing, calculating, planning, TSU, procuring and verificationfor plants within area.
  • Check and verify documentation and drawings.
  • Follow up of the contractors during design, manufacturing and installation, taking care that specifications are followed.
  • Understand and implement Volvo standards in new projects.
  • Reporting status and deviations in decided systems / tools and ensure that there are action plans to reach targets.
  • Handover equipment in the area on responsibility to the end user. 

 

 

What you'll bring

 

  • Have good years of  engineering experience in car industry or relevant company
  • Have a B.Sc. in Engineering or equivalent competence gained by experience
  • Good drive, communication and coordination skills.
  • Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Good knowledge of MS windows and MS office applications.
  • Good understanding of hydraulics and pneumatics, P&ID and mechanical drawings. 
  • Previous experience with high pressure die casting and machining is a plus.

 
As a person we believe you have great communication skills, and you collaborate well with others. We also think you are a structured person who plans and has documentation skills. Self-driven, result oriented, flexible and positive attitude are also needed competencies.

Compensation

Salary for this position starting from 1850 EUR, per month, gross.            
                                                     
The salary amount represents the minimum guaranteed amount of the basic salary component applicable to the job. Final salary is negotiable and will be adjusted in accordance with seniority level and previous experience of candidate. In addition to the monthly salary, there is also a 13th salary paid in an aliquot amount and a performance bonus depending on the company's financial results and individual performance.
