What you´ll do

Become a key player in production as a Die Engineer! As a Die Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring the optimal performance, availability, and lifetime of stamping dies. You will play a crucial role in both preventive and corrective maintenance, while supporting technicians directly on the shop floor. By applying your engineering expertise, you will drive continuous improvements, minimize downtime, and help secure stable, high-quality production in line with Value Driven Maintenance (VDM) principles.

  • Ensure performance, availability, and lifetime of stamping dies
  • Perform and support preventive & corrective maintenance
  • Support technicians in assembly, troubleshooting, and repairs
  • Analyze die performance and drive improvements
  • Minimize downtime and support production issues
  • Develop and improve maintenance methods and standards
  • Collaborate cross-functionally (Production, Engineering, Quality)
  • Maintain safety standards and 5S workplace
  • Handle spare parts preparation and follow-up
  • Coordinate repairs with suppliers and tool shops
  • Estimate and communicate maintenance timelines
  • Fluent English and Slovak

What you'll bring

  • University degree in mechanical, electrical, industrial or equivalent technical engineering background
  • Some years of relevant experience. You have leadership and communications skills. 
  • Experience from running production in car manufacturing Stamping Shop will be highly meritorious.
  • Experiences from other shops, it is also meritorious as well as other engineering roles. 
  • Ability to communicate effectively in both Slovak and English language.

Compensation

Base Monthly Salary (Gross) for this position starts from 2.000 EUR. 

* The salary amount represents the minimum guaranteed amount of the basic salary component applicable to the job. Final salary is negotiable and will be adjusted in accordance with seniority level and previous experience of candidate.
