At Volvo Cars Slovakia, our Controlling team is a key business partner, supporting one of Volvo Cars’ newest manufacturing operations in Košice. We work closely with plant management and operational teams to drive business performance, provide financial guidance, and support strategic decision-making. Our mission is to turn data into insights, identify opportunities for improvement, and help the organization deliver its financial and operational targets in a dynamic and fast-growing environment.

What you'll do

  • Partner with operational teams and management to drive performance and support business objectives.
  • Prepare and analyze financial reports, forecasts, budgets, and KPIs.
  • Support target setting and monitor business performance against agreed objectives.
  • Identify risks and opportunities and proactively recommend actions.
  • Develop business cases, investment evaluations, and scenario analyses.
  • Provide clear financial insights to support decision-making across the organization.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives and help optimize financial processes.
  • Collaborate closely with local and global finance teams, accounting, and operational stakeholders.
  • Contribute to the development of a newly established manufacturing organization and its financial processes.

What you'll bring

  • University degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, Accounting, or a related field.
  • Approximately 5 years of experience in controlling, finance, or business control.
  • Experience in a manufacturing environment is an advantage.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a passion for working with numbers.
  • Experience with SAP (R3/S4) and good knowledge of controlling and accounting principles.
  • Ability to translate complex financial data into meaningful business insights.Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Fluency in English, both written and spoken.
  • A proactive mindset, high integrity, and the courage to challenge and improve existing ways of working.
  • Ability to work cross-functionally and maintain a holistic business perspective.
  • Strong drive, engagement, and ambition to contribute to the success of a growing organization.

Compensation

Monthly gross salary for this position starts from 2.200 EUR.
* The salary amount represents the minimum guaranteed amount of the basic salary component applicable to the job. Final salary is negotiable and will be adjusted in accordance with seniority level and previous experience of candidate.
