Implementation Manager, Volvo Simplified Service (VSS) - Southern Region

    The Volvo Simplified Service (VSS) Implementation Manager role is focused on providing fully rounded implementation support to participating Volvo retailers. This includes sustainment support and implementation of our Lean + program. This will be delivered through a variety of methods which will include but are not limited to coaching, counseling, developing and sustainment support. Expansion and recertification of the Volvo Simplified Service program will also be covered under this position but will be taken after sustainment support activities are up to date with existing retailers. This role will also provide general support for increasing workshop efficiency and throughput solutions that focus on retailer capacity constraints and profitability (Lean +). This role is a remote based position (Southern Region area) and will require the candidate to be a self-starter and exercise individual time management.

What you'll do

    To provide fully rounded sustainment and implementation support to retailers participating in the Volvo Simplified Service program (VSS) and internal support staff. This provides overarching support to enhance workshop related activities which lead to increased efficiency and throughput (including Lean +).

o    Coach/Counsel/Develop Implementation and sustainment activities for retailers. This will be carried out mostly at the retailer level. Overarching implementation and sustainment support will be provided to all participating VSS and Lean + retailers.

o    Create a Volvo Simplified Service retailer plan which includes timeline and expectations

o    Coach/Counsel/Develop the retailer staff and management for their roles in the VSS and Lean + programs

o    Coach/Counsel/Develop retailer staff on how they should measure their performance by using KPI’s and act on result

o    Coach/Counsel/Develop retailer staff on how to fulfill the Volvo Simplified Service (VSS) target conditions (including Lean +)

o    Conduct certification at the retailer for the Volvo Simplified Service program

o    Identify general areas of opportunity outside of the VSS program that will increase workshop efficiency and throughput

o    Test / Evaluate / Implement digital products and solutions within the workshop to help drive performance

o    Help promote solid workshop processes that will ensure an efficient and streamlined operation
 

What you'll bring

o    Workshop experience (shop foreman or service manager) of at least 3 years
o    Change Management experience / training 
o    Microsoft Office Suite experience
o    Associate degree preferred or other relevant work experience
o    Ability to travel >90%
