The Homologation Integration Team is based at Product Regulation and Compliance department and have two main tasks; Lead the homologation coordination of internal vehicle programs at Volvo Cars and to support the implementation of market-specific regulatory requests from our National Sales Companies worldwide.

What you'll do

Vehicle Homologation Leader – Driving Global Compliance

As Vehicle Homologation Leader (VHL), you act as a project leader responsible for ensuring that our vehicles meet all vehicle-related regulatory requirements across global markets. By combining launch activities within Engineering with insights from our worldwide markets, you help optimize the certification process for Volvo Cars.

At Homologation Integration, our mission is to prepare and manage regulatory compliance for all Volvo vehicles, in every market. As a VHL, you begin planning certification activities two to three years before production start, with increasing focus as the start of production approaches.

You will work closely with Engineering, Project Management, and the Product Regulations and Compliance (PRC) team. Within PRC, you lead and coordinate activities to ensure all certification needs are met, covering various markets, new technologies, and technical updates, within one or more vehicle programs.

We’re looking for someone with:
•    Strong communication skills
•    Proven project management capabilities
•    M.Sc. or B.Sc. in engineering, or several years of relevant work experience
•    Fluency in English, both spoken and written
•    Regulatory experience (preferred)
