Transformation Lead - Supply Chain Coordinator Team - Torslanda

About the role

We are looking for a Transformation Lead for the SCC team at Volvo Cars Torslanda. The role is based in Torslanda, reporting to the SCC Manager. 

The role is responsible for driving improvements within the supply chain, with focus on cost and cash flow optimization, secure and challenge our strategy to become number one in supply chain operations.

Role Responsibilities:

•    Work with transportation optimizations based volume saving and tied up capital
•    Working with the intake part, incoming gods. Understand capacity within goods receiving area. Support and develop an optimal logistics flow
•    Flow planning – interface between factory and central logistics
•    Operation, optimization and launch of inbound flows to the plant
•    Analyze performance and deviations of inbound flows
•    Creating Power BI reports to visualize logistic charts and tables, to secure the operations can take accurate decisions
•    Develop strategies and drive/ implement improvement related to strategies
•    Gate-keeper for anticipation stock (temporary stock for different reasons) 
•    Be the Inventory By Purpose coordinatorAbo

Who are you?

The ideal candidate is expected to have a proven experience from logistics network design and a deep understanding of the inbound logistic flows. Experience and understanding of automotive logistics, sourcing/contracting and Order-to-Delivery processes will be a strong merit.

We’re seeking a strategic and solutions-oriented person with a degree in logistics and supply chain. You communicate clearly, thrive in complexity, and bring experience with material planning and logistics systems (MAS, TMS, FLS is a plus).

You have high integrity, a continuous improvement mindset, and strong problem-solving skills. Proficiency in Power BI and Office 365 is required.
