Thesis Work: Relate fuel consumption

The ART Wheels & Tyres are growing and now we are looking for a System Engineer to our agile release train - Road Contact, there you will be a part of our tyre team. The Agile Teams are composed of empowered and motivated individuals who are responsible for managing their work autonomously producing value to the customer.


You will be responsible for drive system functional and architecture development with focus on the future technology and the integration with the software related to Relate fuel consumption with Tyre pressure (Bachelor thesis) within the Tyre Monitoring Team. e.g.


  • HMI – visualise the impact of current tyre pressure for the customer.
  • Impact: Fuel consumption, Battery range, C02 emissions etc.
  • You will also identify working procedures related to subject and propose new system functionality.

We are looking for students that are:


  • Analytic, with an inner drive to succeed, a team player, used to lead cross-functional tasks. Also a great communicator who enjoy contributing to the team reaching the goal.
  • You should have experience of Elektra, CarWeaver and SystemWeaver.
  • Degree in Software development or equivalent technical knowledge and experience from automotive product development.
  • Fluent in English
  • Holds a B drivers licence

Period: 1 semester, 30 ECTS points

Starting date: Jan 2020
Number of students: Suitable for 2 students
