The iCAR group is responsible for Developing, designing and maintaining test objects that are used by all teams in Connected experience for software testing and development. Mainly subsystem rigs, automatic HIL rigs and cars.
What you'll do
You will be in the iCAR Lund team, this is a completely new team starting up in the Lund office.
This team will be a satellite from the Gothenburg team and taking care of test objects in Lund.
this involves updating SW in rigs and cars, trouble shooting of rigs and supporting developers;
- Updating cars and bench rigs with latest developed software
- Change Hardware (ECU/Node computers) in bench rigs or HILs
- Update single nodes
- Trouble shooting
- Communicate and collaborate with tester regarding test objects
- Plan update activities
What you'll bring
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Work experience in automotive software development area
- knowledge of control systems, embedded systems & electronic a
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment but also self-driven when working alone
- Experience with CAN, LIN, FlexRay, or other communication protocols
- Valid European driver’s license B
- Fluent in English (written and spoken)
