Switches & WPC team belongs to Interior Room where we develop the Displays, WPC, Switches, IP, Tunnel and door panels. 
 

Switches & WPC teams are now looking for a Test Engineer for our development project. The team consists of members with competence within lead engineering, test, software and hardware with a clear ambition to work cross-functional.

What you'll do

The Switches & WPC team is looking for a self-driven tester with automotive experience, within SW/electrical. A person with a drive that can closely work with the team to understand the requirements and secure approved test results. The team works close together with other VCC system teams which manage both supplier hardware, software, and In-house development to ensure to meet the specific requirements of the team. 
 

Focus for the role: 

• Understanding requirements, specifications and testing (bench, rig, HIL and automated test cases) 
• Strong problem-solving skills, especially in real-time, and resource-constrained environments. 
• Create test cases from requirements and understand how to test based on the requirements. 
• Ability to create clear and comprehensive technical documentation. 
• Test and debug Switches and Wireless Phone Charger to ensure reliability and performance. 
• Ensure that the developed components aligns with the overall strategies and objectives of VCC. 

 

What you'll bring

The assignment requires a team player and practical and pragmatic by nature. The resource also needs to possess great communication skills to successfully advise and support the organization. 
 
Competences needed: 

• Test methodologies (System, Integration and Component testing) 
• HIL/BoxCar/Bench test and Car Testing 
• Experience in Vector/CANoe 
• CarWeaver (or equivalent requirement handling system) 
• Elektra (or equivalent signal base system)
