Who we are
We are a Cross Environment Testing team within the Complete Software Integration and Verification Department. Our team is focusing on increasing Test value, in-depth fault tracing, Fault slip through, KPI, new concepts, technology and platforms. We identify the problems and analyse how to test and measure new concepts. We work closely together with all the testing teams within Complete Software Integration & Verification. We are now looking for a Senior Test Architect who would like to be part of Volvo Car Corporation from an SW and HW integration perspective.
Who you are
You have a passion for embedded software systems and large-scale embedded SW development organizations. You seek to continuously improve the efficiency and drive the transformation to a digitalized way of working by moving from manual to automatic data driven methods. Collaboration and networking come natural to you as well as the goal that our software- and electronics- architecture and processes should enable our business. You are communicative and can use suitable value argumentation in dialogue with both product managers, stakeholders and when empowering the test and integration developers.
What you'll do
As a Senior Test Architect you will focus on increasing test value. You will be evaluate master quality (connected to program events) and provide feedback/test-report. You will be responsible for the test scope in the integration flow (Master) and assists the test teams to make sure that the most effective test choice is implemented, giving the most test value and supporting the program need. Supports and drives the possibilities to shift-left on the expensive or inefficient tests in place.

Required qualifications / skills
• M.Sc in Electrical and Software Engineering or similar relevant experience
• At least 10 years of experience from working with integration driven development from an embedded software system perspective including software test and integration
• Experience within automotive and from working in an international environment
• Knowledge and experience in how to systemize complex electrical systems
• Test developing, requirement and analysis skills
• CAN/LIN (automotive) – Autosar Classic, Ethernet
• Tools (Canoe/Canape, database System Weaver, (Electra)
• Vehicle measurement know-how
• You know how a car works / BEV understanding
• Driver’s license (B-level)
Meritorious
• Core Vehicle functions, allocation and signaling over networks
• Software coding experience
