System Safety Implementation Expert

Overview: 

 

We are seeking a System Safety Implementation Expert to lead the design and implementation of software and hardware safety in complex Integrated Electronic Units. This role involves ensuring compliance with ISO 26262 standards across all vehicle lines. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical engineering, electronics, mechatronics, or a related field, and possess at least 6 years of experience in a fast-paced automotive product development environment. 

  

Responsibilities: 

 

- Lead the design and implementation of software and hardware safety systems in compliance with ISO 26262. 

- Review, assess, and approve safety requirements and solutions, ensuring they meet electrical, architectural, legal, and other relevant standards. 

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define software and hardware architecture that aligns with safety standards. 

- Develop and implement necessary safety mechanisms and structures to meet ISO 26262 requirements. 

- Test and verify solutions, ensuring they meet safety requirements and standards. 

- Engage with suppliers for design reviews, requirement handling, and verification of compliance with safety requirements. 

  

Qualifications: 

 

- Master’s degree or higher in Data Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Mechatronics, or a related technical field. 

- Minimum of 6 years of experience in cross-functional work within the automotive industry, focusing on software and electronics hardware development. 

- Proven experience with Autosar-based design and detailed hardware and software development compliant with ISO 26262. 

- Fluent in English, with excellent communication skills and the ability to work in a global environment. 

- Self-motivated, with a strong drive to make a difference and contribute to the safety and quality of automotive products. 

- Valid EU driving license.
