At our department of Autonomous Drive and Active Safety Functions we design, integrate and verify the complete vehicle solution for autonomous cars and active safety functions. We collaborate with some of the most innovative industry partners to reach our future visions of safety, convenience and mobility.
As a member of the System Architect team you will have a great impact and create enablers for the design of leading, safe, customer valued and purposeful advanced functions in AD and ADAS.
What you´ll do?
Our current System Architect team consists of a number of highly skilled system engineers with deep technical knowledge combined with a strategic mindset, as well as proven leadershipskills. As a System Architect you will provide technical trade-offs concerning systems, functions, modules, components, interfaces and capability areas. You will be facing interesting problems that will make you work closely with teams and specialists in our unit for Safe Vehicle Automation.
Do you fit the profile?
You have documented experience of system design within the domain advanced driver-assistance functions (ADAS) and, meritoroíus, functions for autonomous drive (AD). You will develop and define system architecture for our ADAS and AD functionality and creating technical solutions involving sensors, high performance compute platforms and actuators.
To succeed in the role, we believe that you need to have experience from software architecture design in complex systems and that you probably have experience of C++ development within the domain.
Your daily work will be dependent on knowledge of functional safety according to ISO26262. Previous experience of performing hazard analysis and function realization including creating functional and technical safety concepts is useful in the role.
Meritorious is if you have experience in designing fault-tolerant systems with high availability, interpretation of legal requirements and communcation with legal authorities
You probably have a M.Sc. degree or comparable experience. Fluency in spoken and written English, as well as a driver’s license (B) with adequate driving experience, is required.
