Our mission 

Ensure that the SW&E (Software & Electronics) architecture is suitable for defining efficient system solutions according to company strategies. 

Ensure that the organization is well-acquainted with the SW&E architecture and takes responsibility for the complete system. 

We have organized our System Architects into Global Architect Teams, grouped by the name of CESA (Complete Electrical System Architects). We work both strategically, for future platforms and products, and operational, supporting the product development organizations in delivering software and hardware solutions into the system.  

 

Who you are

We are now looking for an operational leading role in system architectural work within the scope of the CESA group. 

You have a solid background in operational leadership and collaboration in teams with system architects and engineers. 

You typically have several years of operational leadership roles such as program management, RTE, or Scrum leading roles within software architecture, system engineering, and system design.   

 

You have a solid technical background with more than 10 years of experience in the development of embedded systems and large-scale development organizations to be able to drive system architecture-related work packages. 

 

You easily take a systematic approach to coordinate the team efforts to achieve the overall objectives for complete system solutions in the vehicle.  

Always keeping the goal in mind that our software- and electronics- architecture should enable our business. You are structured, and communicative and can use suitable value argumentation in dialogue with stakeholders and the team when empowering the system architects. 

 

What you’ll do as a System Architecture Operational Leader 

As an Operational Leader of System Architects, your primary role is to lead the operational planning for the team of CESA System Architects. You will have a central role in planning, following up with a focus on the deliverables for the team in alignment with overall objectives and priorities. You will be a part of a core group of stakeholders to set the priorities, resource allocation, and capacity to best utilize the team efforts. You will guide and support the team to make technical decisions and take on a broad responsibility. You will have an important role in building effective teams relying on close collaboration with colleagues on-site at the office.  

 

You can drive and lead some specific work packages assigned to the team. 

 

Required qualifications/skills: 

M.Sc in Computer Science and Software Engineering or similar relevant experience   

At least 10 years of relevant work experience as a system engineer/designer combined with technical leading roles covering program management and embedded systems development.    

Documented skills in managing system and software architecture for large-scale embedded systems  

Ability to clearly communicate and express the connections between larger business goals, roadmaps, and specific programs broken down into work packages for the team 

Driver’s license (B-level) 

 

Meritorious 

Experience from working with: 

Automotive- and infotainment domains in an international environment.

Embedded development for POSIX and Autosar 

Software product line architecture and variants management 

Safety Management and Cyber Security 

System integration and testing 

Continuous Integration 

Communication protocols in the automotive domain (Ethernet incl. SOME/IP, CAN, LIN)  

Connectivity technologies like Bluetooth stacks, WiFi, and phone mirroring technologies 

You are a self- and data-driven and result-oriented person. A technical leader who empowers others and creates energy. You have ability to communicate clearly and concisely, in written and spoken English, with technical development teams as well as with managers and business teams. 

 

Location: on-site in our offices in Torslanda, Gothenburg.
