Summer Internship - Brand Ambassador

Each year, Volvo Cars welcome students as Summer Interns to our sites in Gothenburg, Olofström, Skövde and Lund. As a Summer Intern at Volvo Cars you can work in production, in one of our storages or at the office. Spending a few weeks in our team is a great way for you to get an insight to what life at Volvo Cars can be like and gives you a basic understanding of our operations. It also provides you with a strong network in our organization, which can be of value in your future career. The number of summer intern positions and work areas varies from year to year.

Who we are
Within Marketing & Brand, The Experiential Production Team is responsible for the Factory Delivery Experience. 

Within the Factory Delivery Experience in Gothenburg we receive more than 1 600 customers yearly, mainly from the USA. As part of our team you will play an important role in strengthening the Volvo Cars brand by providing a first class Factory Delivery Experience for all our customers.

What you will do
We are looking for a passionate and curious brand ambassador with high enthusiasm for giving customers to Volvo Cars the best possible vehicle handover experience. In this role you will be the face and voice of our brand, as you will be part of the Factory Delivery Experience to our international customers at our Factory Delivery Centre. 

To be successful in this role, you should have a natural way of seeing things from the customers point of view and the ability to see the bigger picture, always wanting to develop and improve with the customer in mind with a structured approach and good networking skills. Being flexible and able to multi-task whilst focused on solutions and good at on-the-spot prioritization helps to deliver in this role and you should have a good attention to detail.

Minimum Qualifications:
•    English, spoken and written, on a professional business level. Additional language skills is an advantage
•    Proven skills in all MS Office
•    Swedish driver’s license B

Location: Torslanda, Gothenburg

Duration: 10 weeks with a start in the 2nd week of June. 

The position will report to the global Head of Experiential Production at our Swedish head-office. We are a global company and you need to be proficient in English, verbally and written. Due to GDPR we do not accept applications over email.
