Central Manufacturing Engineering at Volvo Car Group prepares and implements quality assured flexible and effective production systems in the plants globally. At Manufacturing Engineering, you are part of a group working close to all our elements within the chain of developing- construction- manufacturing and containing process.

What you'll do

  • Develop conceptual layouts (2D and 3D) for assembly stations and assembly lines.
  • Perform virtual simulations using process simulate.
  • Performs ergo evaluation at station level.
  • Lead and participate in P-FMEA on to secure quality.
  • Other tasks related to our department.


    Starting time is around mid June and ends by the end of August. Specific times for start and end to be agreed. During weeks 29-32 you will be expected to have vacation.

    The position is based in Gothenburg.

What you'll bring

We see that you are detail oriented, have quality focus and a good communicator. We believe you have high aspirations, self-motivation and you are curious to learn new technologies. You are a cooperative person and have great collaboration and communication skills.

 

  • You are currently in your first year of your Master studies and will after summer start your final year.
  • You have a BSc or are studying a masters program preferably in Mechatronic Engineering, Electrical Engineering or similar education.
