As a Solution Architect, you will work closely with digital product teams and business partners within the Supply Chain, Manufacturing, and R&D domains. Your role is crucial in designing and delivering architecture solutions by translating business and technical requirements into actionable plans.

You'll tackle complex problems, identify potential solutions, and accurately define issues and requirements. By assessing technical needs during implementation, you ensure solutions are up-to-date with emerging technologies. You will regularly communicate with IT specialists and Enterprise Architects to develop and implement comprehensive solutions.

Your insights will be key in decisions related to Buy vs. Build, always considering the full perspective to avoid sub-optimization. Acting as a bridge between technical and non-technical stakeholders, you'll ensure individual software projects align with overall business strategy and technology standards. Additionally, you'll review and validate solution designs from other team members.

What you'll do

You understand complex problems and find potential solutions, accurately defining issues and requirements. You assess technical needs during implementation and stay updated on new technologies and solutions. You communicate regularly with IT specialists and Enterprise Architects to develop and implement complex solutions. You are a key voice in decisions related to Buy vs. Build, always considering the end-to-end perspective to avoid sub-optimization. You act as a liaison between technical and non-technical stakeholders. You ensure alignment of individual software projects with overall business strategy and technology standards. You review and validate solution designs from other team members.

 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Enterprise Architecture: Maintain an established set of enterprise architecture artifacts.
  • Enterprise Infrastructure Modernization: Deliver digital solution architecture services as assigned, preparing conceptual and logical architecture diagrams to align technical direction and document future-state architectures.
  • Analysis of "As Is" and "To Be": Document complex "as is" and "to be" processes and describe the changes required to migrate to the "to be" capability to record accurately the change required.
  • Design and Conceptualization: Work effectively with cross-functional teams to conceptualize products and services, leveraging data to drive original design ideas and decisions.
  • Horizon Scanning: Explore and develop a detailed understanding of external developments or emerging issues and contribute to the evaluation of their potential impact on, or usefulness to, the organization.

What you'll bring

- Experience: Proven experience in Supply Chain Planning Solutions such as Demand Planning, Supply Planning, S&OP, preferably within the Automotive industry.
- Technical Skills: Familiarity with platforms like Kinaxis RapidResponse or Kinaxis Maestro and SAP S4, as well as experience with complex, cloud-based solutions (ideally in Azure).
- Data Management: Strong understanding of data management, data modeling, key control settings, and analytics.
- Enterprise Architecture: Proficient in enterprise architecture, process modeling, and API design.
- Communication: Ability to articulate both low-level implementation details and high-level abstract concepts effectively.
