We are looking for a skilled and driven Launch Leader to join our team in Kosice, supporting the successful industrialization of new vehicle programs and model-year updates within Software Electronics Platform, Program & Quality ART. 

 

As Local Launch Leader, you take full responsibility for entire Software Engineering (SWENG), which includes:

  • Safe Vehicle Automation (SVA)
  • Software & Electronics Platform (SWEP)
  • Connected Experience (ConX) 

 

You will play a key role in ensuring a smooth transition from development to production. You will safeguard build quality from Tooling Trial (TT) to Start of Production (SOP) and support stable running production (= Running Change Program = RCP), while strengthening alignment between Engineering, Program, and Manufacturing.

 

In addition, the role includes responsibility as Site Product Quality Leader, supporting the plant during running production related to SWEP, CONX & SVA.  

What you'll do

In this position, you will:

  • Coordinate launch-related activities between Engineering, Program, and Plant teams in the Kosice plant.
  • Act as the plant interface for launch issues, risks, and deviations impacting SWEP, CONX & SVA delivery from TT to SOP.
  • Secure alignment between Software, Test Engineering, and Manufacturing to ensure launch readiness.
  • Support planning, execution, and follow-up of build events (TT, pre-series, SOP).
  • Collect vehicle logs when required and share structured data with development teams using established tools and methods.
  • Track, drive, and escalate risks or blockers affecting quality or timing.
  • Maintain overview of release content, software changes, deviations, and related action plans.
  • Represent Software in plant and cross-functional forums, including audits and quality reviews.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of launch processes and cross-functional collaboration.

What you'll bring

Technical Competence

  • Knowledge of product portfolio for SWEP, CONX & SVA.  
  • Experience from vehicle launches, industrialization, or manufacturing environment.
  • Understanding of build phases (TT, PP, MP1, SOP, RCP) and production processes.
  • Experience in root cause analysis and structured problem solving.
  • Ability to collect, analyse, and communicate technical data effectively.
  • Familiarity with software releases, deviation handling, and change management.

 

Leadership & Personal Capabilities

  • Self-driven and proactive with strong ownership mindset.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills with analytical approach.
  • Project leadership capabilities – able to coordinate without formal authority.
  • Ability to manage multiple parallel activities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Structured and solution-oriented under time pressure.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to align cross-functional stakeholders.

Compensation data

Monthly gross salary for this position starts from €2500 EUR.
* The salary amount represents the minimum guaranteed amount of the basic salary component applicable to the job. Final salary is negotiable and will be adjusted in accordance with seniority level and previous experience of candidate.
