Let's introduce ourselves
The Resource Management team is responsible for testing Resource management including Wake up and shutdown. We work with manual testing and test automation. The team covers the following test environments: vehicle, boxcar, domain HIL and base tech HIL. Each team member covers 1-2 environments. In your daily work you update software in the test environment, run tests, take logs, analyse logs and try to identify root cause to issues. When needed, we also support other teams with troubleshooting.
The majority of the test team are working in Gothenburg but we also have remote members based in Krakow.
What you'll do
We are looking for an experienced and driven Software Vehicle Test Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will play a key part in ensuring the quality and reliability of software in real vehicle environments. You will work hands-on with test vehicles, executing and developing tests, analyzing results, and collaborating closely with system designers and software developers to resolve issues and improve solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Update and integrate software builds in test vehicles
- Design, develop, and maintain test cases and test strategies
- Execute tests in vehicles and other test environments
- Analyze test results, logs, and data to identify issues and trends
- Troubleshoot software and system issues in collaboration with cross-functional teams
- Propose and drive solutions together with system designers and developers
- Document findings, test results, and improvement recommendations
- Contribute to continuous improvement of testing methods, tools, and processes
What you'll bring
Qualifications & Experience
- Proven experience in software testing in automotive
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Experience working with vehicle systems, ECUs
- Ability to read and interpret logs, traces, and diagnostic data
- Hands-on experience in test design and execution
- Experience with tools such as CANalyzer, INCA, ParallelDiag, DSA, and DLT
- Familiarity with debugging tools and test frameworks
- Degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent experience

- Ability to work independently while being a strong team player
- Curiosity and persistence in troubleshooting complex issues
