Software Engineer
Software, the fuel for mobility
We bring bold digital visions to life. So we’re on the lookout for more curious and creative engineers who want to create change – one line of high-quality code at a time. Our transformation isn't for everyone, but if you're excited about solving the leading-edge technological challenges facing the auto industry, then let’s talk about your next move.
Let's introduce ourselves
At Propulsion and Climate Labs, we support the sustainability mission by being part of the commitment to rethink sustainability in our operations, in our cars and in society. Our scope is to secure appropriate and efficient test facilities enabling testing, verification and validation of power electronics, electric motors, transmission, thermal and climate systems as well as energy efficiency and emissions.
The group Lab Engineering consists of several different roles that support the section within HIL, data transfer, mechanical engineering etc.
The group’s main delivery is to enable the testing team’s delivery capability by taking lead in emulation software as well as design bridging parts, dummy parts, and fixtures.
What you'll do
You will integrate Hardware-In-the-Loop systems, test cell control systems and test objects (electric motor-, battery-, charging-, climate-, power conversion/distribution-, combustion engine- and transmission controls) to enable smooth testing and the use of efficient testing methodology. You will participate in expanding HIL applications to new test environments, as well as expanding their scope in current applications.
You will also get the chance to be involved in making architecturally sound software decisions aiding future development and maintenance of our total software suite. In this role you will have the opportunity to build a broad network within R&D and the Laboratory.
