AR-HUD (Augmented Reality Head-Up Display) developer for PoC project at Driver Information

What is AR-HUD? (Augmented Reality Head-Up Display)
AR-HUD design is a kind of projection device, which uses optical projection technology to project ADAS info, navigation, speed limits, car speed, traffic warning to drivers’ fields of views in commercial vehicles, trucks, and economic vehicles. Drivers can move their visions from the dashboards on the front road, that make drivers to keep their sights focusing on the road safety rather than bowing head down to obtain car information.
What’ll you do?
In your role as AR-HUD developer at Driver Information and the instrument cluster, you are a member of a tight development team which will be responsible to deliver a proof of concept for our first AR-HUD.
As an AR-HUD developer you will work with cutting edge hardware and software, with the guideword of "rapid prototyping" the aim will be to learn what is needed for the production software to be successful. As the main project is proof of concept, you will have also have opportunity to affect the daily work and workflow.
What you’ll bring
- 5 years of experience in C++, Python
- Good Experience in low level embedded development (drivers, platform libraries, os integration etc)
- Fluent in English (written and spoken)
Meritorious qualifications:
- Experience in working with 3d modelling software
- Knowledge about Driver Interaction and Infotainment technology area
- Basic experience in Lua
- Experience from automotive
- Valid European driver’s license B
