The Department of AD & ADAS Platform and Protective Safety consists of 200 skilled engineers. We are responsible from research and advanced engineering to implementation, verification and validation of current and future customer offers. Our product quality and customer response are also our responsibility.

Our ART (Agile Release Train) Protective Safety develops and integrates system and functionality into a complete product, encompassing SW, HW – ECU and peripheral sensors.


For Protective Safety, electronic sensors and ECUs detect, determine and activate different devices e.g. airbags and belts in case of an accident, and the system protects occupants inside the car and pedestrians outside in a crash situation.
In addition, our ART is also responsible for HP GNSS (High-Performance Global Navigation Satellite System, which is one of the major contributors to enabling the Highway Pilot functionality.

Do you want to be one of us?

We are now seeking a skilled and ambitious Senior Analysis Engineer with a passion for testing, analyzing and team collaboration.
You will be a member of one of our Agile Scrum teams.  
  
As an analysis engineer your main responsibilities will be to develop and write test code for verification of the SRS system/ Crash Control for current and future vehicle platforms, making sure our product is working as intended on all levels, SW / HIL / Vehicle. Test automation is a big part of the coming development.
To plan and execute the work needed for the above levels, as well as to report to the stakeholders.  


Different technical solutions are to be evaluated to ensure that the vehicles meet our high safety standards. 
  
Main responsibilities 

•    To plan, perform, and report: the System, Component, and SW verification/validation both in HIL rigs and in complete vehicles. 
•    Developing new test methods for automated testing and writing test code based on requirements. 
•    Analyse test results, both our own and the supplier´s, and communicate with involved parties. 
•    Investigate and improve our test environments, making sure they cover our needs for future platforms. 
• Problem-solving, fault tracing, and debugging 
•    Being involved in technical discussions and decisions  
•    Actively supporting team collaboration and WoW improvement

  
We are expecting you to have a degree in computer science, mechatronics, electronics or similar. Other recognized engineering qualifications combined with relevant experience may be considered. 
We are looking for a test engineer with skills for testing within a safety critical system, with a passion for improving the area and yourself.
 
You should know your way around: 
•    SW/System Testing  
•    Canoe, VTestStudio, CAPL, and other Vector Tools and Systems 
•    Test automation 
•    Vehicle electrical architecture 
•    HIL development, build, and improve test environment
  
Well-acquainted with automotive concepts such as: 
•    Communication protocols such as CAN, Ethernet and LIN 
•    Diagnostics, UDS, DoIP 
•    SWDL and bootloaders 
•    Autosar  
•    Exposure in testing ISO26262- Functional safety requirement
  
It is meritious if you have: 
•    At least 6+ years of both SW testing and HIL development (Especially with VT Rig)
•    Knowledge of how to work in a vehicle, connect equipment and collect log files 
•    Experience in programming languages such as Python, C++, and .Net 
•    Linux experience 
•    Knowledge of Git and Gerrit (Awareness of CI tools chain and automation)
•    ISTQB certification(Foundation or advance)
•    Driver license B.
