The teams within the PLM Digital department work together to develop solutions for the product creation and information backbone for the entire lifecycle of our cars. Our team, Virtual Hardware Solutions, specializes in digital solutions that support virtual development and enable virtual verifications of the vehicle. Virtual Hardware Solutions comprises 15 members, including business analysts and software developers, and is characterized by diversity in age, gender, and nationality. With its main location in Gothenburg and additional members in other locations, such as India, the team fosters an inclusive and supportive culture.
What you'll do
We are currently seeking a highly skilled Senior PLM Software Engineer to join our team in Gothenburg, Sweden. As a key member of our team, you will play an essential role in the implementation of 3DX as PLM system for hardware development. You will collaborate closely with other members of the team and representatives from various engineering departments to ensure efficient data management, streamline processes, and enhance overall productivity.
Key Responsibilities
- Contribute to all stages of the application lifecycle, including definition, architecture, design, implementation, debugging, testing, and support.
- Provide technical expertise in translating business requirements into PLM/3DEXPERIENCE platform solutions.
- Develop technical solutions based on architectural concepts and design principles.
- Explore and evaluate new technologies to improve and optimize the application.
- Maintain and support technical solutions to ensure operational efficiency.
- Create and maintain comprehensive solution documentation.
What you'll bring
Qualifications
- Master- or bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science (or a related field), is preferred.
- At least 7 years of experience in PLM.
- Proficiency in Dassault Systems 3DEXPERIENCE platform; extensive hands-on experience with 3DX portfolio, including ENOVIA, CATIA, DELMIA, or SIMULIA.
- In-depth understanding of the 3DX architecture and data model.
- Experience in configuring, customizing, and integrating 3DX solutions with other enterprise systems like Teamcenter, SAP, or other PLM/ERP systems.
- Proficiency in programming, particularly with C# (preferred) or Python, web services, and knowledge of 3DEXPERIENCE APIs.
- Experience in implementing or migrating large-scale PLM projects.
- Fluency in English is required, and knowledge of Swedish is considered an advantage
