Senior Maintenance Manager

As a Senior Maintenance Manager at the body shop, you will lead and manage our maintenance organization during our transformation journey.

You will be part of our transformation journey in the car manufacturing industry and a member of the Body Shop management team, reporting directly to the Head of Body Shop VCT. This role provides unique insights into strategic and operational work, valuable for your development into more challenging roles.
 

In this role, you will join a high-performing team, handle daily improvement opportunities, and lead the largest transformation at VCT. You will build team commitment, drive people and business development, reduce losses, and push operations towards lean transformation. Additionally, you will organize work and resources to effectively meet the company's short, medium, and long-term goals.

What you'll do

As our Senior Maintenance Manager, you’re responsible for setting business targets for performance in line with Volvo’s vision and mission. This is done together with the Supervisors and teamleaders for the shop.

You’re also responsible for coaching, support and challenge Supervisors by developing, maintaining and following up to improve the quality, as well as participating in strategic work to bring out new activities for the short- and long-term goals.  

What you'll bring

The right candidate has a technical degree or equivalent work experience and technical knowledge, preferably within the area of maintenance. You have broad experience from manufacturing and/or quality within Volvo Cars or relevant industry.

You must have strong leadership experience from development of functions, systems, attributes and components in automotive engineering. The position requires good oral and written communication skills in both English and Swedish.
