About the Role:

Join our agile team at Volvo Cars to contribute to our digital ecosystem, focusing on customer-centric solutions. Your role will be to develop secure infotainment systems using Android Automotive OS, emphasizing modern cybersecurity practices. Collaborate with our motivated team and partners like Google, QNX, and Qualcomm to create robust, world-class security solutions.

What You'll Do:

• Work within an agile team of software engineers, testers, and architects.
• Contribute innovative ideas and solutions in R&D.
• Stay updated on cybersecurity trends and share knowledge.
• Implement secure coding practices, threat modeling, and penetration testing.
• Develop security solutions like IDS and vulnerability scanners.

Skills and Experience:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s in Software Engineering or equivalent experience.
• Proficiency in Java, C++, Python, and Linux-based environments.
• Experience in secure coding, team collaboration, and problem-solving.
• Familiarity with penetration testing, threat modeling, vulnerability analysis.
• Automotive Infotainment experience is a plus.
• Knowledge of Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, and phone mirroring technologies.
• Understanding of current and emerging IT security standards.

Requirements:

• Eligibility to work onsite in Gothenburg, Sweden.
• Proficiency in English, both spoken and written.
• Driver’s license (B-level) is preferable.
