Do you want to take your next step in your cybersecurity career by working with an advanced and full-stack cybersecurity toolkit and help optimize it’s use in an enterprise organization? We are looking for a cybersecurity specialist in a new cybersecurity function to enhance our ransomware protection and resilience, which spans many systems, security tools and capabilities.
In this role you will define new ways of working with our security tools and enhance our capability to protect against ransomware and increase our ransomware resilience based on the technical tools and threat intelligence we have.
Key Responsibilities:
• Test: Conduct ransomware exercises/tests and drive mitigative activities
• Metrics: Define metrics for the company’s pro-active and reactive ransomware protection.
• Tool implementation: Review and implement security features in Ransomware protection tools
• Threat intel: Analyze threat intelligence of ransomware groups and ransomware attack methods.
• Protect: Develop protection mechanisms against ransomware attacks and TTPs (Threat, tactics, and procedures).
• Sync dep: Develop collaboration and processes with teams in other departments.
Who are you?
We expect you to have:
• Proven experience within cybersecurity
• Technical understanding of ransomware threat, attacks and TTPs
• Good understanding how to defend against ransomware
• Project management skills and/or cybersecurity architecture skills We expect you to have skills and experience in one or several of these areas:
• Threat hunting methods and IOCs.
• Malware and ransomware trends, including RAT/ransomware communication.
• MITRE ATT@CK or similar frameworks.
• Experience in penetration testing, red teaming or CTFs.
• Experience/training in threat intelligence tools and TTPs
• Incident response/forensics or SOC experience (L1, L2 or L3).
• Experience with managing ransomware breaches and rebuilding large-scale infrastructures.
