What’s in it for you?
We are looking for a Quality Action Leader (QAL) for our production plant in Torslanda, Sweden

The QAL role belongs to the Plant Quality Department, which supports all production shops in achieving Built in Quality, problem solving as well as drives the cross functional concern resolution of customer concerns. 


What will you do?
As a Quality Action Leader within the Plant Quality Department you’ll quality secure project issues by participating in FMEA, VBE (Virtual Build Event) and VSM (Value Stream Mapping). You’ll also act on suspected quality risks, lead Vira follow up meetings and initiate quality verification between series.

 

In this role you’ll also be leading and driving concern resolution of potential customers concerns. For this you’ll use both external (e.g. Warranty and customer feedback) and internal (e.g. plant quality systems) data to act on potential customer issues. It’s necessary to collaborate with other organizations within the company to contain Interim Containment Action (ICA) and solve Permanent Corrective Action (PCA) quality issues while aiming for mitigated customer concerns. 

 

Another part of the role is to lead, support and coach preventive and corrective quality actions within your team and communicate lessons learned to the areas concerned. For complex quality issues you’ll lead cross functional problem solving and task forces and act on potential critical concerns while supporting ongoing issue within Critical Concerns Action Process (CCAP).

 

As a QAL you’ll share knowledge, Best Practices and issues found internally, externally and in projects with colleagues around the world to secure global cross-functional communication and networking. 

 

In this role you’ll be aiming for: 

  • Early detection and decrease of launch issues in the production plant
  • Mitigated customer concerns
  • Less disturbance in the production plant and improved quality output for customers
  • Improvements and efficiency within the whole company


You and your skills
We see that you have a bachelor’s or master’s degree in engineering or equivalent experience. You have previous knowledge and experience from problem solving in 8D, Six Sigma or equivalent. If you have previous experience working within Body Shop or Geometry, it’s an advantage.

 

Do fit in this role you are passionate about Quality and have proven structured and advanced problem-solving experience. You also have knowledge about processes, methods and tools within manufacturing and New Model program experience. We also see that you have previous leadership experience, it’s an advantage if you have training within leadership. You’re fluent in English, both written and spoken, and since you in this role will work cross functional, you’ll also need basic skills in Swedish written and spoken.

To succeed in this role, you have communication and interpersonal skills to interact with all functions within the existing organization. Furthermore, you have the ability to learn new things and work together with other functions to achieve your customer's expectations.
