Let's introduce ourselves

Enterprise Digital Collaboration (EDC) is a cluster within the Digital Workplace area at Volvo Cars. We are responsible for enterprise-wide tools and services such as instant messaging, digital meetings and content creation. We focus on the user experience rather than product features and aim to offer a self-explanatory digital workplace, based on confirmed user needs. 

Currently most of our tools and services are based on Microsoft 365 but we also offer services such as Miro for whiteboarding. We influence and drive the agenda for digital collaboration throughout the company and need to be aware about the organisation’s full stack in this space, for example Notion and Slack.

Further, our cluster is responsible for digital process automation in M365. Also providing Microsoft’s Power Platform as a software platform for the business.

What you'll do

As a Product Owner you’ll lead a team within EDC, being responsible for our enterprise-wide collaboration tools and services. You will communicate and own both vision and goals for your product and make sure it is aligned with the Digital Workplace strategy. You will also provide clarity and deliver value to all stakeholders, including end-users.  

As Product Owner you will be responsible for backlog management including:

•    Aligning backlog items with vision and goals
•    Prioritizing backlog items
•    Making sure the backlog is transparent and understood

Moreover, you will initiate and lead collaboration with other products within and outside the Digital Workplace area.

What you'll bring

We believe that you have at least a few years of experience from a role as Product Owner, Product Manager or similar. You have solid experience and knowledge from working with products within the Digital Workplace area, preferably Microsoft 365. 

As Product Owner it is important that you have experience developing and explicitly communicating the product vision. You are confident in communicating professionally in a global context. You have excellent language skills in English and Swedish, both written and spoken. Moreover, we believe that:

•    You strive for transparency and to share knowledge. 
•    You can voice and negotiate priorities within the product team. 
•    You are passionate about technology and the user experience.
•    You have great experience from Agile ways of working
