In this role you will serve as the Product Mastery for two teams. One team is responsible for implementing an onboard measurement data API, also known as a data collection framework, which gathers data from various vehicle sources such as video and LIDAR, supporting systems like AD/ADAS and others. The second team focuses on calibration and data collection, supporting standards such as XCP and UDS, as well as host log.

Both teams consist of skilled software engineers who are passionate about software development. Currently, the teams develop in C and C++ and primarily deploy on HPA. This role will enable you to build and maintain a broad personal network both within and outside the team. What you'll do

Role Description:
Lead and manage product related work by owning and deciding upon backlog priorities for teams and organizations based on business needs. The Product Mastery roles are named differently depending on operational model and level.

 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Digital Strategy/Transformational Projects Execution 6: Execute and deliver elements of the digital road map, leveraging agile and design-thinking principles to drive sustainable implementation.
  • Product and Solution Development 6: Define and deliver products and services that meet customer needs by selecting the best possible approaches available within established systems.
  • Project Team Management 5: Lead a small project team; communicate the necessary outcomes and the direction required to achieve them; coordinate team actions on project tasks; request additional team member support when needed; and identify areas of improvement to build the capability of the team through training, coaching, and mentoring.
  • Digital Vision and Strategy 6: Support strategy formulation for digital by exploring how information technology can be used to help the organization become more responsive to customer needs and changing business requirements.
  • Agile Release Planning 5: Plan and replan software releases for small projects as they are produced to ensure timely updates and to deliver the planned benefits as early as possible in the project.

 

What you'll bring

We are looking for an experienced and curious person with previous experience in cross-functional collaboration as well as a strong sense of business insight. People management, collaboration and communication skills are essential when working in a diverse and international setting. It is also important that you are continuously developing your own skills and guide and coach your teams to continuously develop theirs. 

We also see that you have...

  • M.Sc or B.Sc. degree in Electrical Engineering, Software Engineering or equivalent
  • Ability to communicate technical information to the team and stakeholders
  • Ability to translate customer needs into product features and stories
  • Ability on creating and communicating product roadmaps
  • Ability to deliver clear, concise reports on the product's status, risks, and timelines.
  • Ability to understand SW testing, CI/CD, test automation and validation
  • Skilled in conflict resolution to manage differences of opinion among team members or stakeholders
  • Solid presentation skills to articulate the product vision, progress, and technical details to stakeholders.
  • Previous SW development experience and familiarity with embedded systems is an advantage
  • Knowledge of Agile frameworks like Scrum and Kanban
  • Knowledge using JIRA
