Welcome to Volvo Cars Connected Experience (ConX), where we focus on developing tools and systems that support Infotainment, connectivity, and advanced automotive technology. Our team in eART Solution Integration and Release is looking for a Product Owner to take responsibility for the Test Environment and infrastructure, ensuring it meets the needs of developers and testers and helps deliver high-quality products efficiently.

What you'll do

Job Responsibilities:

Ownership of the Test Environment and infrastructure

• Defining and maintaining product vision and roadmap for the Test Environment, covering test frameworks, communication libraries, and hardware design.
• Ensuring the Test Environment supports developers and testers in creating reliable and efficient systems.

Planning and Prioritization

• Managing and prioritizing the backlog, balancing functionality, performance, and reliability.
• Making decisions based on input from stakeholders and data to ensure the environment adds real value to users.

Delivery and Collaboration

• Working with Tech leads, Software and System Architects, Technology Managers, and cross-functional teams to align the Test Environment with technical and operational requirements.
• Approving product deliveries to ensure they meet requirements and are ready for use.

Focus on Developer and Tester Experience

• Ensuring the Test Environment delivers the tools, libraries, and hardware developers and testers need to perform at their best.
• Continuously improving the environment to make it intuitive, effective, and robust.

What you'll bring

You Bring:

• Experience as a Product Owner or similar role, ideally in test environments or development tools.
• Knowledge of test frameworks (pytest, gtest, tradefed), hardware and harness design, and system communication protocols (CAN, LIN, Ethernet etc).
• A proven ability to manage requirements and deliver solutions that meet user needs.

You Are:

• Organized and able to balance competing priorities effectively.
• A strong communicator who can work with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Focused on delivering practical solutions that developers and testers rely on daily.
