Come join Cybersecurity at Volvo Cars! We are looking for an Application Security (AppSec) Product Manager to lead the change in delivering cutting-edge solutions that safeguard critical applications.

What you'll do

You’ll be responsible for the product vision and roadmap and align stakeholders around the vision. Own the product lifecycle from ideation to execution, ensuring seamless integration of security features in software applications. 

Moreover, you will collaborate closely with engineering and security teams to deliver top-notch solutions. Define and prioritize product roadmaps, ensuring alignment with security goals and customer needs. Analyze market trends, customer feedback, and emerging threats to stay ahead of the curve in application security. You will ensure the delivery of scalable and user-friendly security features. Last but most importantly you will foster a security-first mindset across the organization and promote best practices.

What you'll bring

We believe that you have proven experience in product management – it’s an advantage if you have it within the Application Security domain. You need to have a strong understanding of secure software development and vulnerability management. A problem-solver with a proactive approach to identifying and addressing security challenges. You have an excellent communication and leadership skills, able to influence and educate stakeholders at all levels.

Furthermore, you are a strategic thinker who can balance security, user experience, and business objectives. You have a strong technical understanding of application security concepts, practices, and tools. Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies and product lifecycle management is necessary to succeed in this role.
