The newly created department Power Electronics designs the brain of the Electric Vehicle propulsion system - The Traction inverter HW & SW as well as power conversion and charger units. What you'll do
Role Description:
You will be part of the Power Electronics System Testing team, where your main focus will be on testing and analysis. This includes preparing, setting up, and conducting functional development tests in HV laboratory test rigs, vehicles, and other test facilities.
Additionally, you will
- Analyse and evaluate test results
- Perform fault tracing, problem-solving, and collaborate with our HW and SW engineers to propose and discuss improvements.
- You will also contribute to enhancing our testing processes by developing test automation and/or data processing scripts.
- Work on refining our test methods.
What you'll bring
To be successful in this role we believe you:
- Hold a University Degree in Electrical Engineering, preferably with a specialization in power electronics.
- You should have professional experience in power electronics design or verification, ideally at a system level (e.g., complete inverters, drive systems, or converters).
- You have Experience in automotive applications and automotive requirements is highly desirable.
Being a team player and collaborating effectively with team members and other stakeholders are essential for success in this role. You enjoy sharing your knowledge with others and approach challenges with an analytical and flexible mindset.
