We are Plant Supply Chain Engineering team at Volvo Cars in the Torslanda factory.
In our team we are both technicians and engineers who are working on Logistics cost efficiency and project management. We are embarking on a transformation journey, focused on expanding, optimizing, and enhancing our factory to support future growth and innovation.
At Supply Chain Volvo Cars Torslanda, you are part of a global supply and production team. We secure that the cars we build through our flows meet the highest expectations from our customers.
In close collaboration with people inside and outside the plant, we drive and lead development in the supply chain. From the supplier to the customer – in a lean flow way. What you'll do
We are looking for an IT System Technician who is eager to contribute to the development of Logistics Torslanda, aiming to enhance VCT's competitiveness and contribute to our goal of being the top choice for car manufacturing.

As an IT Technician in Supply Chain, you will play a key role in enhancing and developing our IT solutions to optimize our logistical and operational processes. You will work closely with our operations teams to identify and implement improvements. In this role, you will:
- Create and visualize data using Power BI to support decision-making and optimize operations.
- Program and customize internal systems to meet business needs.
- Implement new IT solutions that support operations and increase efficiency.
- Perform changes and upgrades to existing IT systems to ensure we remain at the forefront of technology.

In this role it is important to be fluent in Swedish and English, both written and spoken
We are looking for someone who has:
- Experience working with Power BI, including DAX, building reports, and creating visual dashboards.
- Solid programming skills in languages such as C#, SQL, or similar.
- Experience in implementing IT solutions within an operational environment.
- Strong skills in VBA (Visual Basic for Applications) and Excel are required, including the ability to write and maintain custom macros to automate and optimize processes. You should be comfortable developing and troubleshooting VBA code to enhance functionality and streamline workflows.
