Senior Facility Management Engineer (Landscape)

What’s in it for you

Currently we are looking for a Senior Engineer Landscape to Volvo Cars facilities for EMEA Region. In this function, you will support both projects and landscape related services with aim to optimize outdoor environment activities. As Senior Engineer, you also have the responsibility to support Engineers Landscape globally (APAC Region and Americas Region).

 

This role reports to Senior Manager Quality & Engineering The position is located in Gothenburg but travelling can be occasionally required.

 

What you’ll do

  • Act as an advisor in Landscape related questions globally (EMEA, Americas, APAC) and support all Regions in making maintenance schedules and long range replacement plans for all Volvo Cars´ properties
  • Be the lead in projects and outdoor environment related services with aim to optimize them and work with KPIs to measure delivered improvements
  • Safeguard Volvo Cars´ guidelines concerning Landscape, participate actively in Volvo Cars´ compliance to legal requirements, develop procedures accordingly and monitor their deployment globally
  • Identify opportunities for improvement within Landscape through gap analysis, networking, benchmarks, User surveys, technological and Market trends watch and drive the necessary improvements

 

You and your skills

You have a relevant university degree and a solid experience within Landscape. You are used to work with risk management.  You have a broad spectrum within operational development, quality concerns and cost management from a facility management perspective. As Volvo Cars is a global organisation, you also need to have excellent communication and presentation skills in English (both verbal & written).

 

On a personal level, you are a strong communicator who have the ability to build and maintain good relationships as well as to cooperate cross-functionally. You have strong coaching skills and can influence others. You have strong analytical capability and strong business acumen in both efficiency and effectiveness. You are open to new ideas, you take initiatives and have high moral and integrity.  Last but not the least, you act as a role model and show courage.
