Do you want to assist us in innovating the customer experience?  The Tier 2 Markets team is a part of our Commercial Cluster in the Digital Finance area, responsible for enabling a bright future at Volvo Cars through digital innovation within the finance area. Our mission is to enable dealers to give customers an innovative user experience. As one of our new Engineering Managers you will guide one of our SAP product teams, The Tier 2 Markets team is currently engaged in agile product development focusing on bringing proven business features to the rest of the world through an opinionated platform approach.  

What you’ll do:
You will develop and grow a team of hardworking SAP engineers through hiring, mentoring, inspiring, and feedback. You will ensure, through streamlined execution and experimentation, that our solutions meet the needs of our customers quickly and accurately. You will be the voice of engineering in the Product team through a friendly and effective collaboration with your product counterpart.

Moreover, you will advocate and strengthen modern, agile software development and assist us to develop and promote good engineering practices. You will ensure the solutions are scalable, sustainable, and architecturally sound, and that technical debt is both incurred consciously and repaid in a reasonable time. Lastly, you will be an essential member of the cluster engineering leadership team and collaborate with other leaders across the organization.

Who you are:
We believe that you have experience working with SAP. You enjoy developing, inspiring, and growing an engineering team, and have previous experience doing so; you are probably a technical manager today and you know what it takes to build a phenomenal team. You are very knowledgeable and enthusiastic about modern software development that builds products our customers enjoy. You are excited about digital technologies and willing to work hands-on to try new technologies. You are good at leveraging vendor capability for the team’s delivery.

Is a plus if you have experience with the business process of P2P, OTC, and SAP S/4HANA or SAP ECC.

As a person, you are someone that fully embraces a growth mindset, and you have the ability to encourage others to do the same. You see you are someone who likes to have fun at work and makes sure everyone always feels welcome and included! You are curious and possess empathy and good communication skills.

You can be based in one of our offices in Gothenburg or Stockholm.
