Digital Program Lead, Manufacturing & Supply Chain

Volvo Cars is on a journey to implement a next-generation digital solutions across our business including the commercial, financial, industrial and corporate domains. In the role as Digital Program Lead, you will lead and coordinate the successful transition to future major solutions that support our global Manufacturing and Supply chain footprint through all stages of planning, development, and implementation.

What you'll do

You will be the Program leader responsible for developing and implementing major digital solutions within the Manufacturing and/or Supply chain area. You will work with stakeholders to balance business needs and establish a solid roadmap while working closely with product teams to set the right design principles and operational criteria to be successful. The Program leader is responsible for ensuring the right capabilities, development plans, deployment strategies, and resource utilization. 

You will use your strategic thinking and experience to interact with business leaders mainly across the industrial operations, to advise on business process evolution and harmonization while ensuring digital solutions can be rolled out in an efficient manner across all plants, warehouses and logistic hubs. To build relationships and get things done you need strong communication and influencing skills and a deep understanding of the intersection of business processes and digital transformation.
 

What you'll bring

To succeed in this role, we believe you have experience from driving initiatives in complex business environments and organizations.  

Required skills:
•    Strong experience within Manufacturing and/or Supply chain areas, preferably in automotive industry
•    Excellent program management/project management skills 
•    Proven experience in stakeholder management, including building trust and managing expectations effectively
•    Experience from digital deployments 
•    Flexibility to working in a mix of Agile and Waterfall environments
