What you'll do


We are now looking for an engineer with product development experience in the automotive industry, AUTOSAR knowledge or SW development expertise. We are looking for an individual who has strong interpersonal communication and collaboration skills. You are someone who can manage tasks independently and drive issues with energy and manage cross functional contacts.

You will be a member in one of our teams which consist of both System designers and testers.

As a System designer your main responsibilities will be development of ECU SW and to lead and plan the work needed, as well as to report to management. Cooperation with other Engineering Departments/ARTs, Procurement, Production, testing facilities etc. is a part of your daily work.
Different technical solutions are to be evaluated to secure that the vehicles meet our high safety standards. SW development and coding skills are fundamental knowledge, and you are also expected to contribute to our new architectural SW development for our ART Protective Safety in general.

Your main responsibility 

  • Define vehicle level system design requirements towards different components which includes electrical requirements or software requirements.
  • Collaborate with Functional Safety (ISO26262) & Cyber Security engineers and legal analysts to define specifications towards internal stakeholders and suppliers.
  • Actively participate in joint reviews for Software, System Safety & Cyber Security according to the project plan.
  • Define network signal interfaces for communication between ECUs.
  • Support the test engineers in defining system level test cases and support in test/Verification activities.
  • Define diagnostics strategy based on the overall system design.

Required qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Electrical Engineering/Electronics Engineering/Embedded Systems/Mechatronics or equivalent
  • Knowledge of Networking protocols such as CAN or LIN or FlexRay etc
  • Familiar with requirement Engineering
  • Overall knowledge of embedded electronic systems.
  • Minimum five years’ experience in the Design, Development and Validation of automotive electrical/electronic components.
  • Automotive ECU technical knowledge and previous experience in component ownership or software module ownership or AUTOSAR BSW module configuration expertise etc.
  • Fluent in English (both written and spoken)


Good to have:

  • Working knowledge of programming in Embedded C or similar language
  • Knowledge in electrical components such as DC Motors, Actuators, Sensors (Hall Sensors, Temperature Sensors), circuit design and electrical schematics.
