What you'll do
The group is part of the software factory for Infotainment. We’re the team that opens the window into the software factory, making its inner workings clear and accessible.
Through monitoring and visualization of CI/CD, environment and product, we turn raw data into stories that teams can act on.
In this role, you will drive the data models and designs to ensure overreaching synergies within the organization. You and the team will be improve system observability by identifying monitoring gaps and implementing metrics that provide meaningful visibility into CI system health and performance. You will automate monitoring, alerting, and operational workflows to reduce manual effort and improve reliability. You are to collect, analyse, and manage operational data to identify trends, bottlenecks, and areas for improvement. You will build and maintain dashboards and visualizations that make reliability and performance data accessible to developers and stakeholders. You will ensure data quality, consistency, and accuracy across monitoring and observability systems.
What you'll bring
In this role you would carry a Bachelor's Degree in Data Engineering, Computer Science, or related field. You would carry strong proficiency in SQL (querying, optimization, database management). You have proven experience with Python for data processing and automation. You have hands-on experience building and maintaining data pipelines / ETL workflows. You bring practical experience with data modeling, database design, and data administration. You have familiarity with CI/CD practices and tools and experience working with visualization tools such as Grafana or Power BI. You would also bring experience with cloud-based data platforms such as Snowflake, experience with monitoring and logging tools such as Prometheus and ElasticSearch as well as in backend development for data applications or services. Furthermore you would also have familiarity with data control practices, including data governance, quality, and access management.
Some of the required qualification include but not limited to:
- 2–4 years of experience in Site Reliability Engineering, DevOps, or Data management
- Experience with observability and monitoring tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana)
- Experience with databases relevant to observability and CI/CD (e.g. Prometheus/InfluxDB, PostgreSQL/MySQL and Elasticsearch)
- Fluent in English (written and spoken)
